Hey there. Welcome to the Morning Shred brought to you by snowboards.com. I’m Jenna. I’ve got Levi from Burton here and we’re going to talk about the Burton Invader. So, Levi, this is kind of a starting boot for you guys. Who’s it designed for?
This is a great entry level boot or for that guy that only gets out there a handful of times a year that just wants something that’s going to keep him warm and comfortable throughout a whole day of riding. A couple key features with this boot are going to be this DynoLite Sole here that’s just helping lighten up this boot. It’s super lightweight. It’ll feel like nothing’s on your foot but then we’ve also updated the liner system on here and we call it our Phantom Liner and basically it’s an integrated liner system. It still gives you the comfort and warmth of a stand-alone liner but it’s actually integrated in the boot so it has even more weight savings in there. But yeah, making it a great comfortable, warm boot. Cool. And it’s got Total Comfort.
Yep, Total Comfort Construction is something Burton’s been developing for the last couple years that basically is meant to make the boot fit great right out of the box and so we’ve elongated this toebox here to open up away from where your toes connect to your foot and it just is going to make that boot that much more comfortable right out of the gate, so…
Great. So, like you said, just a great boot for sort of that entry level rider or a guy who really doesn’t get out as much. Just wants a comfortable boot that’s going to fit him great out of the box, right?
Yep. And it’s going to be nice soft-flexing, easy-to-ride, very forgiving for that rider as well.
Cool. Well there you go. Make sure to check out the Burton Invader Boot on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
