HARRY MAGUIRE has sparked a fight among sportswear giants to secure him to a mega-money boot deal  Maguire, the world’s most expensive defender, has NO footwear deal despite his £85million move to Manchester United  But Nike, Adidas, Puma and Under Armour want him on a long-term contract worth £700,000-a-season  Maguire, 26, wore ‘blacked-out’ boots for his United debut against Chelsea last week as he is not committed to a sponsor  He has been out of contract since the summer and his commercial valued has increased massively since his record-breaking move from Leicester just before the transfer deadline  Companies have been drawn to Maguire’s wholesome image despite becoming a household name after the World Cup last year  In an interview with SunSport last year revealed he still drinks coffee at Costa and eats at Nando’s with pals from his home in Yorkshire  And on the pitch his move to Old Trafford has made him hot property among the manufacturers who want him wearing their boots  Adidas make United’s kit and they have snapped up Dan James, who also made his debut against Chelsea after his summer move from Swansea  Magurie reportedly turned down a stunning £278,000-a-week deal from Man City to go to Old Trafford  City put together a personal package that was around £100,000-a-week more than what United were offering  But Maguire always had his heart set on a move to Manchester United and joining another club was not an option for the Sheffield-born star  And Maguire has already established himself as leader in United’s dressing room  A United source said: “He’s the leader United have missed for some time.  “The players were immediately excited by the prospect of him arriving  “He’s given the back-four renewed confidence, not just by his ability but his words  “The team feel stronger defending set-pieces now.” Harry Maguire already established as Man United’s dressing room leader just two weeks after £80m transfer from Leicester
