Wisdom pill #1 from an Ultra Runner: do running shoes really make the difference?

Hi guys today I wanted to talk to you of another aspect that many people think it’s fundamental for running that is running with expensive shoes or “high performing” as people says In reality that’s not important the shoes that I’m using right now brand apart that’s not so important by now they already have something like 1500km-1600km ran but I keep on running with them. Why? Am I crazy? I don’t think so because to me what really makes the difference while running it’s the running thechnique, the land of your foot on the ground it’s not about the shoe, how cushioned or how stable is etc. what really makes the difference is how at the end we land the foot on the ground and how we can naturally cushion the impact of the foot and how it is unloaded on our legs it’s important to train your running technique as much as your endurance because the technique is what saves you from injuries So when you’re training dedicate some time with no rush to understand how you land your foot on the ground to become as flat as possible and not landing with your heel or tiptoe and you’ll then see that makes the difference I tell you this because now they’re already 4 years in a row that I run without any injury so dedicate 10-15 minutes of your time to the techique because at the end that’s what really makes the difference Bye!
